Our Highland Journey

Hi 👋🏻 The faces behind Arizona Highland Co, Aleah Chilleen and Guyton Sherrill. 

What started as a simple conversation between Guyton and Aleah quickly turned into a shared dream. Guyton casually mentioned that he had always wanted Highland cows. Using highland cows for photo opportunities in the venue had been a dream of Aleah’s for years! Unfortunately, there was always the issue of what to do with them during the hot summer months. Now having a summer location,in the white mountains of Arizona. Aleah dove headfirst into the search for Highlands.

Highlands are shockingly difficult to find!! It wasn’t easy, but through determination and a whole lot of learning, she became skilled at spotting the right fit. Along the way, she attended several livestock programs, including a transformative event called Cowgirl Confident, which gave her the medical knowledge and confidence to care for their herd with intention and heart.

Their farm has since grown beyond Highland cows. Today, it’s also home to chickens, goats, donkeys, and horses—all raised with the same care, love, and curiosity that started it all.

At the heart of it is a mission: to connect people to animals in a meaningful way, creating experiences that are just as healing as they are joyful.
